Wheatlands league runs on weekday play so basically you have 1 practice a week and 1 game a week dependent on travel distances. This could be to make up the long distance travel games or for the year end playdowns, provincials, tyke festivals or tournaments.

Players are responsible to purchase their own equipment. If players require a stick we have them on hand as well but they must purchase their own as they can not cut our house sticks to different lengths as per the CLA guidelines.

Is there teams for GIRLS ONLY?
Girls can play on the league co-ed teams or if there is enough interest we can form in addition to the league teams an all girls team that can play exhibition games and enter into tournaments. If they so choose they can also attend provincials, but would have to decide on whether they want to attend with their league team or with the all girls team they can not play on both at provincials.
